Rose in Bloom - Rose Cosplay

This is my cosplay of "Rose Campbell" from "Rose in Bloom" by Louisa May Alcott. When I read the 2 books (Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom) I immediately fell in love with the setting, period and characters!!!! So, though, it's a tad unusual, I decided to make a costume of the heroine from the books---Rose Campbell, and cosplay her. Anyway, I hope you like it! It's a full party taffeta gown, flaring at the bottom, with an overlay of white chiffon. The off the shoulder bodice is also organza/chiffon and has a center "rosette" in the middle and at the back waist. I made the over the hand glovelets as they used to wear back then and also carry a white lace folding fan to complete the "Victorian" look. The wig is a golden blonde, in ringlets as she wore and has satin "snowdrops" in my hair as the book kept saying she had in her flaxen hair.
