La Corda Yunoki x Ayano Dolls

Konnichi ha, Min'na sama!!!

This is the fifth of 7 couples from the beautiful anime/game "La Corda d'oro" (Kiniro no Corda) that we've made using Volks of Japan 11" and 10" Custom Dolls.

Yunoki Azuma plays the flute but a gold/brass one, so I had to enamel the silvertoned 1/6 flute! (So odd that I had to paint Hihara's trumpet silver and Yunoki's flute gold! :laughs: They came in opposite colors!)

Takashina Ayano is his fiancee who absolutely adores 'Azuma-sama' as she calls him! She is completely head over heels and devoted to the boy! Well, right now, she's only his 'fiancee candidate' but he does care for her, and even gave her hope that he'll be waiting for her when she finishes high school. I loved the interaction/parts they had when tiny adorable children---they're so perfect together and I'm glad she appeared in the series for him! ^.~

Yunoki has handrooted dark violet long straight hair while Ayano has jet black in long sharp cut style. Both have handpainted faces. I used the SH-06 head on Yunoki which is sharp and thin with an almost 'snobbish' look (something about the nose takes care of that. ^.~), so it was a perfect match for Yunoki, and the SH-03 head on Ayano, which is perfect for almost any anime character, as it can be both cute and pretty at once, so it's good for both cute boys and girls. Yunoki is using the EB-N Volks body & SH-06 head, while Ayano uses the Midi B Body and SH-03 head.
