Critias x Callisto BJD Dollfie

Hello, min'na sama!!!

These are my 24" (60cm BJD) Volks Dollfie Dream/Obitsu Male dolls of Sir Critias and Lady Callisto. They are the Atlantean ancestors of the present-day Seto Kaiba and Serenity Wheeler, who are featured in our YGO fanfiction: "A Time to Every Purpose."

Critias' outfit is so complex but I wanted all 4 versions of the YGO character, so we set about making it for him yesterday so we can finish up this legendary pair's outfits! He is mostly dark blue pleather/vinyl, but he also has underneath a lycra dark blue shirt, a microsuede pair of darkest blue pants; dark blue lycra gloves (with individual fingers!!! :whew: That was so difficult!); and a silk/crepe blue and yellow-green full length cape, attached to a silvery grey chest armor! The helmet again was from a "Darth Tater" (Mr. Potato Head) and all I had to do was add the handsculpted point on top and the "silvery" armor on the sides/front! Sir Critias needs his legendary sword, so we constructed one from a real cosplay sword/rapier, which in 1/3 scale is exactly the proper size for a broad sword! The final touch was a dark blue (I know in the anime it looked like his hair was dark blonde, but it was difficult to tell really, and since Hermos had red hair, it would only make sense for Critias to have blue hair, Timaeus aqua, and so on, to match their "image" colors. So I opted for him to have matching blue hair because of that reason. ^^ Hope you can understand!) long hair, super soft, fur wig for him!! (Seto of course, didn't appreciate me putting this wig over his silky hair, but I had to complete Critias' look, so....^^ Alas for Seto! )

Lady Callisto has a simple, yet really gorgeous gown made entirely of crushed chiffon! It's 3 layers so that it's not totally "see-through" and is draped at her hips, waist and side for that "twisted/draped" look/effect. She has boning in her low necked bodice and carries a golden and blue medallion/pendant in her hand. (Fans of C. Rosenkreuz from "Duelists the Roses" know where this piece of jewelry fits in later on, in the YGO universe!!) Serenity here is sporting her Kisara/Callisto wig. I upturned the front bangs so that they were more her style, than just straight down. ^^ I think it came out really pretty!!
